Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the PDFix – PDF Tools Android app (“PDFix”, “the app”), published by NextGenVerse (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The app

PDFix lets you scan documents, create, edit, convert, merge, split, compress, sign, protect and organize PDF and image files, recognize text (OCR), and read and create QR codes and barcodes. Most processing happens on your device. Some features need an internet connection.

2. Your content

• You keep all rights to the documents and files you scan, create or edit (“your content”). We do not claim ownership of it.
• You are responsible for your content and for making sure you have the right to scan, copy, convert, edit, sign or share it.
• Do not use the app to copy or alter documents you are not allowed to, to forge signatures or official documents, or for any unlawful purpose.
• Keep your own backups. We are not responsible for lost files, for example after uninstalling the app, clearing its data or losing your device.

3. Accuracy of results

Text recognition, translation, PDF-to-Word / Excel / PowerPoint conversion, compression and similar features are automated and may not be perfect. Check important results before relying on them.

4. Accounts and Google services

Signing in with Google is optional and is used for Google Drive backup. Your use of Google services is also subject to Google’s terms. You are responsible for the security of your Google account and your device.

5. Premium subscriptions

• Some features are available with PDFix Premium, offered as a subscription through Google Play. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.
• If a free trial is offered and you do not cancel before it ends, it converts into a paid subscription.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Premium until the end of the current period.
• Refunds are handled under Google Play’s refund policy.

6. Ads

The free version of the app shows ads provided by third parties (Google AdMob). We are not responsible for the content of ads or for the websites or apps they lead to.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, modify or resell the app; not to interfere with its ads, purchases or security; and not to use it to break any law or anyone else’s rights.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its design, code, name and logo belong to NextGenVerse and are protected by law. These Terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control.

9. Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, NextGenVerse is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, documents or profits, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access to the app if you break these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. When we do, we change the effective date above and, for important changes, ask you to accept the new version in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of India, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring them where you live.
